I was able to catch Janet Cardiff's The Forty Part Motet exhibit on its last day at Gallery 308 in Fort Mason. Tickets were sold out to the exhibit but were available through walk-ins which requires you standing in a long line like everything in San Francisco. I was very hungry and thirsty but I didn't want to lose my spot in line. I was able to secure a ticket and got to check out the glorious and mind blowing exhibit which made me forget how hungry I was. I was in there for about an hour.

Once I was done with the exhibit, my brain reminded me I needed some food. Thank god for The Interval which resides next to the gallery. The Interval serves snack bites, coffee/tea and cocktails. Their cocktail menu is quite extensive supposedly representing different parts of the world. Their interior space is pretty cool and decorated with the feels of a library an/or musuem. This place is supposed to host a bunch of hipsters but I saw lots families and couples. I was there during the day so the scene can be totally different at night.

I treated myself to Spreads by Phoebe Foods 9 served with crackers and smoked trout. It was a good enough snack to tie me down for a bit. I also ordered a Cuba Libre to wash it all down. It was good overall. This spot is a cool place to meet with someone and catch up or even for a casual date. I will definitely come back to try their other libations and check it out at night.
