If you know me, I have an appetite. Like I said earlier, the snack I had at The Interval was going to tie me down for a bit. Guess what, nope. I wanted something hearty and more filling. I decided to head out to the Fillmore to try out Chef David Lawrence's new spot, Black Bark BBQ. It just opened so I was excited and not expecting much.

The space was simple with a few communal and bar tables. They also have a few televisions mounted to the walls so you can watch sports. It's an order and then find an open seat type of place. I ended up getting the beef brisket, pulled pork, mac n cheese, potato salad and cornbread. It was good but nothing amazing. They just opened so I might have to go back and see if they make any changes to their menu. I'd eat here again if I was craving BBQ and was in the Fillmore.
